Roof Coating in Winston-Salem
Residential & Commercial Roof Coating in Winston-Salem, Backed by 500+ Projects
Roof coating is a maintenance and restoration treatment applied over an existing roof system to extend its service life without a full tear-off. For qualifying roofs, it’s a practical alternative to replacement. Trust Roofing and Property Maintenance LLC is a family-owned, woman-owned business founded by Ricky and Kelly Lamberty in Winston-Salem, and we offer roof coating services for both residential and commercial properties.
Find out whether your roof qualifies for coating rather than replacement. Call us at (336) 717-0901 to schedule a free estimate with Ricky or Kelly directly.
Why Winston-Salem Property Owners Trust Trust Roofing and Property Maintenance LLC
Since 2019, we’ve completed more than 500 projects across Winston-Salem and the Piedmont Triad. As an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, we work with manufacturer-backed materials and warranties on every job. What sets us apart day to day is simpler: Ricky and Kelly handle each project from the first call to the final walkthrough. You won’t be handed off to a representative or a subcontractor.
Kelly brings more than 15 years of roofing industry experience to every assessment we make. We don’t use high-pressure sales tactics. Our job is to give you a recommendation that fits your roof, your budget, and your goals, not to sell you the most expensive option available.
Coating Types & Candidate Roofs
Roof coatings fall into three common formulations: acrylic, silicone, and elastomeric. Each suits different roof types and conditions. Silicone coatings, for example, handle standing or ponding water on low-slope roofs better than acrylic formulations generally do. Reflective coatings can lower rooftop surface temperature, which may reduce a building’s cooling demand during Forsyth County’s humid summers.
Flat or low-slope roofs and metal roofing systems are the most common candidates. But coating type matters less than candidacy. A roof is generally a good candidate only when the underlying membrane or substrate is structurally sound, seams are intact, and the insulation beneath is dry. Coating applied over a damaged or wet substrate can trap existing problems rather than resolve them.
How We Determine Whether Your Roof Qualifies
Before recommending any coating work, we inspect the roof using drone technology and EagleView 3D imaging. This gives us a precise, documented picture of existing conditions, not an estimate based on a quick visual pass. Severe wind and hail are leading causes of roofing damage in Forsyth County, and what looks like surface weathering from the ground can involve more significant substrate issues underneath.
Winston-Salem’s humid summers are also a factor. Coating applied to a damp substrate can fail to bond properly even when the application looks acceptable right after installation. Our inspection process is designed to catch these conditions before any product goes down. If your roof doesn’t qualify for coating, we’ll tell you that clearly and explain what the right next step can be.
